The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department serves 217 square miles. The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer department with 50 members. We are a 501(c)3 organization operating on grants and donations. The department maintains 4 fire stations.  2 inside the city limits of Bellville and 2 located in the county. We are members of the Texas State Fireman’s & Fire Marshall’s Association (SFFMA) and follow their certification and training program for our firefighters.
